NADA Brings ‘Automotive Event of the Year’ to San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Jan 23, 2015) — Sunshine warmed the City by the Bay to springtime temperatures as leaders of an industry with its brightest future in years opened the doors to the 98th annual National Automobile Dealers Association Convention & Expo this morning.
“Engage” is the theme of this convention, which more than 23,000 new-car and -truck dealers representing 52 countries are expected to attend. More than 570 exhibitors have filled the massive Moscone Center halls to engage the dealers with their products, which range from car washes to computer software designed to streamline the business of selling and servicing cars and light trucks.
Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida, will deliver the convention’s keynote address this afternoon. Former “Tonight Show” host and car aficionado Jay Leno entertains the conferees tomorrow.
Convention attendees will also choose from 120 workshop sessions in 24 categories to learn the latest trends and opportunities.
Known as “The Automotive Industry Event of the Year,” the NADA show runs concurrently with the American Truck Dealers Convention & Expo. Both shows conclude Jan. 25.
